The Death of Paper & Pen Is Highly Exagerated

Don't bury the art of writing by hand just yet. Despite what the folks at Blackberry or Apple iPhone will have you believe. Don't get me wrong. It is pretty cool to type into a device smaller than your hand, I also think it's kind of difficult to type into a device that is the size of my hand.

The pen and paper will never go away entirely. You can't carry your computer everywhere. You still have to sign checks and documents outside of the food store and when your get the call to bring home eggs, it's easier to write it down on a stick note then on the same phone you are talking into.

Writing products still make great giveaways for trade shows, sales calls, employee recognition items and awareness events giveaways. Promotional pens are effective tools in more ways than one. They are light to transport and take up little room at your exhibit or service counter. They are also inexpensive. Everyone needs a good pen.

Paper is the perfect complement to a writing instrument. For the executive or trainee there are custom printed or engraved padfolios which often include addition pockets and sometimes a calculator. A great handout for seminars and training courses. Smaller note pads & jotters with your imprint fit in pockets for note taking on the go.

The desk and office are perfect venues to show off your logo and contact information. Cube pads feature a full color logo or message on all four sides giving you a billboard that can be seen from all directions. Convenient sticky note pads come in handy when you least expect it.
